Barry Moerschell

General Counsel and Vice President of Compliance

As General Counsel and Vice President of Compliance for Human Coalition, Barry Moerschell has over 12 years of experience practicing law in Texas. Barry’s professional experience includes working with the law firms of MoseleyMartens, LLP, and The Law Office of Dan E. Martens, where he engaged in general civil practice representing businesses in a broad range of matters. Barry also served as corporate counsel for Center for Criminal Justice Solutions, LLC, and he spent time working for the in-house legal department of FTS International Services, LLC. As a result, Barry is experienced in diverse areas of legal practice, including contracts, compliance, corporate governance, strategy development and implementation, policies and procedures, and general corporate matters. 

Barry has watched Human Coalition grow from its inception as just a groundbreaking idea for preserving the lives of the preborn, to what it is today: a nonprofit organization that is truly making an impact by harnessing the talents of innovative leaders from the business world. 

Barry holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University. 

Barry and his wife Jill have four children and reside in a suburb of Dallas.
