Jen’s Story
Did you know that one in four women sitting in the pews of America’s churches has experienced an abortion? These are women like Jennifer who discovered she was pregnant in her early 20s.
As the daughter of a pastor, Jennifer faced not only the anxiety of an unplanned pregnancy, but also the potential shame her pregnancy might bring on her family.
When Jennifer searched the Internet for abortion-related information, her search led her to our Grapevine Women’s Care Clinic.
Today, Jennifer is the proud mother of a little girl named Riley. And on April 21, 2017 – the day after we had our annual banquet – Jennifer walked down the aisle and wed her fiancé, a godly man who has loved Riley like his own child.
Isn’t it amazing to see how the love and hope that you helped pour into Jennifer has come full circle?
Jennifer isn’t shy about thanking our staff for helping her choose life for her child. “Thank you for all the help and prayers! I’m so glad I made the choice I did. Riley is an angel, and I’m glad there were people there to give me hope when I was so fearful!”
When asked what she would tell women who are overwhelmed with the idea of choosing life, Jennifer looks into the eyes of her daughter and smiles, “It’s worth it all.”
